- Thumb-wars in @d2.

- Holly trying to blow something off the table but blowing the contents of the nearby ashtray onto me.

- Gay dancing. *insert jazz hands, 'big fish, little fish, cardboard box' and rave hand gestures*

- Taking too much stuff and having to make a pile on the dancefloor and dance around it.

- DOLLY PARTON (x 2)

- Random butchie talking about how ace Converse are.

- Walking through the square, seeing Kizzy and running at her.

- Kizzy running away.

- Manky sidekicks. blue ones and red.

- Kizzy texting 6 times in the space of 2 minutes to say she was on her way and that we weren't allowed to move. Still not there 20 minutes later it turned out she was still at a bar.

- Being fiendishly ID'd at Roebuck and resorting to going to the proper Wetherspoons which is blatantly piss-poor in comparison.

- The incident concerning the mixing of lemonade&vodka with Coke&vodka...

- Random college guy in @d2. <3 "That guy just wanked at me!"

- Kizzy repeatedly lifting me up against my will to try and steal a mahooosive sun hanging from NG1 ceiling.

- Flashing shoes at random butchie in NG1.

- "HOORAY FOR GAY FAY!"/monkey girl

- Random woman that Kizzy knew deciding to wear a luminous builder's vest instead of her top.

- Sharing one shag-tag with two people.

- cary-topless-gay-but-straightlooking-man-from-@d2-with-funky-pants-who-said-holly-had-nice-hair being in NG1 too and trying to stick his tongue down my throat after I gave him a light and Kizzy finding it wholly amusing.

- Somehow gaining a pack of matches.

- Falling through a door into a secret room and Kizzy pushing the shopping trolley we found down a set of hidden stairs.

- Pouting when the DJ played Green Day and Linkin Park.

- Screaming when he played Le Tigre, Tori Amos, Morissey and The Smiths.

- Everyone else screaming when Placebo came on.

- "I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO PUT IN YOU!" At the gay bar.

- Meeting Dave who recognised me from Faceparty.

- Meeting the Ikea posse who happened to be with Dave.

- Kizzy telling Matt of the Ikea posse that she loved him after having been in his presence for no more than a minute.

- Seeing the-guy-that-I-don't-know-but-who-knows-me lots of times and hugging him each time.

- Seeing Simon's aunty!!

- Seeing Matt but him not seeing me.

- Seeing a guy drop a record on the pavement and Kiz having to be restrained from stamping on it.

- Kiz repeatedly yelling "HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR!!!!" at anyone walking by.

- Kiz trying to steal another hat (no riot caused this time).

- Kiz having a pie and chips with curry sauce on top(?!).

- Kiz making friends with a woman called Kendra... and her mis-hearing me and thinking I said she had a 'puffy' name.

- Kiz bursting all the balloons released in NG1 in search of the ticket for a free bottle of vodka... only to pick up a random piece of leaflet off the floor and handing that in instead and somehow getting a free Embrace CD.

So I got back from Manchester Pride two days ago. Wooh. I still ache... I'm still tired... and I still keep finding random injuries that I don't know how the hell I required. Overall it was an interesting weekend... interesting in both good and bad ways.

My love for Canal Street however shall never die.
